PSPIRC v1.0.1: IRC client for PSP
Homebrew developer zx-81 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development forum a while ago and release a new application called PSPIRC. Just like the name suggests, this program is a basic Internet Relay Chat client for the Sony PlayStation Portable. It was based from Danzel’s IRC engine and zx-81’s very own PSPSSH.
Furthermore, the IR keyboard support of the client was based on the work of another coder Harald Fielker. The keyboard support was tested using a Targus Universal IR Wireless keyboard. This is just the first public release of PSPIRC v1.0.1 and here are its current features:
- IR keyboard support
- Danzeff virtual keyboard for all text input
- Profiles to store Login/IRC servers data
- Save log files
- etc…
The download package below includes separate builds for PSP FW 1.5 as well as CFW 3.xx OE. A source code has also been included for those who want to improve the program. Take note that both builds come with a Readme file which include pertinent information and installation guidelines.
