Quantic Dream boss David Cage has said before that they’re not working on the rumored “Horizon” game. He does have some good news for fans of the studio’s output, though. Apparently they have not one, but two projects in development right now.

Cage in an interview with Examiner that their upcoming projects will still be more of the mature-themed interactive storytelling we saw in Heavy Rain, but the story and the approach will be very different.

“We currently work on two very different projects,” he told Examiner. “After the success of Heavy Rain, we continue to explore how we can go further with interactive drama, working on emotion and interactive storytelling for a mature audience, but with a very different story and a different approach.”

Cage also assured fans that they won’t be resting on their laurels after the success of Heavy Rain.

“We are not going to play it safe from now, we are going to use this credibility to continue to take risks, give ourselves exciting challenges and try to invent new ways of playing,” he said. “I believe that this is what Quantic Dream’s fans expect us to do. It is also what keeps me passionate about what we are doing.”
