Real or Fake: Game Boy emulation on the PS3
Real or fake? That’s the question we’re asking you today as our magical research hamsters found something interesting over at the Digital Battle website. It’s claiming to be a video showcasing a Game Boy game running on the PS3. The question is: Is it bogus or not?
Here’s what gets us about this video. During the opening, you see a short shot of the controller being dangled in front of the screen while playing. The only problem is, the SIXAXIS looks almost like the PS2 controller, and the lighting obscures the actual color of the controller. It could simply have been a PS2 controller dangled in front of the screen. On another note, you can see Linux running in the backlground, but it could just have easily been a computer running Linux to play the game.
