Reggie Fils-Aime: America to have staggered schedule for WiiWare games - Image 1If you’re worried about how hectic it’ll get when all those recently announced WiiWare games hit stateside, we’ve got some good news straight from Nintendo.

During a recent inquiry, NoA president Reggie Fils-Aime clarified that they’re planning to use a staggered launch schedule for the WiiWare‘s upcoming launch here.

As Fils-AIme elaborated, this means that instead of releasing all their WiiWare games at once (like in Japan), they will instead release a few of them every week. Put another way, it’ll be following a very similar launch scheme for the Wii’s Virtual Console service (or the PS3’s PlayStation Network), currently pegged at two to three games per week.

That said, the company didn’t specify what games would be arriving first when North America’s WiiWare goes online this May 12 (though this author hopes it’s Crystal Chronicles). Visit us again as we gather more information regarding this matter.
