Resident Evil 0 gets release date; no word on international release
Heads up to our readers in Japan: Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 0 (also known as Biohazard 0) will be released on July 10. For our readers in other regions, we’re sorry to report that there’s still no word on whether the port will be released outside of Japan. Read more details about the port in the full article.
Last month, Famitsu revealed that Capcom will be releasing a Wii port of Biohazard 0 (or Resident Evil 0), which was originally released for the GameCube.
Gamers in Japan can look forward to the port’s release this July 10. Biohazard 0 will be available in Japan for JPÂ¥ 4.190, which is about US$ 40.
Unfortunately for gamers in other regions, the game has only been announced to be released in Japan, and there’s no word yet on whether Capcom will release it in other regions. Still, if the game sells well, we won’t be surprised if it goes international.
From what we know though, the only real difference between the two versions is a new motion-sensing engine for the Wii version. There are talks about widescreen support with improved framerates, but these aren’t confirmed.
