Just before the year 2009 ended, Sega released the demo for Resonance of Fate (aka End of Eternity). However, instead of being pleased that they are able to preview the RPG, some people complained that the demo was a tad to hard for a demo. For this, game director Takayuki Suguro sent out an apology.

In the statement he released through their official blog, Suguro explained that they had to cut out the tutorial mode from the demo as they weren’t able to spend as much time on it. The Newcomer and Normal Modes did, however, offer some sort of guide for the players through icons and text that appear on the screen.
