Rested XP in WoW Burning Crusade
There have been some rumors going around among World of Warcraft players that there will be no rested experience accrued when Burning Crusade raises the level cap from 60 to 70. In order to clarify the matter, Nethaera posted the following on the official WoW forums:
If you are already level 60 and have been for awhile, you will not start with rested experience. However, as you begin to level from 60 to 70 (provided you have activated the Burning Crusade expansion) you will begin accumulating rested experience again the same as you normally would. So if you’ve been used to camping out wherever and whenever, you might want to work to break that habit and start camping out at Inns again.
Regarding the levelling curve for those who are gunning for level 70, Nethaera merely pointed out that different play styles will lead to different levelling speeds – something that every WoW player knows. What we do know is that the inns around Azeroth will be doing some pretty good business once the expansion comes around.
