Rock Band getting screaming Judas Priest album for XBLA and PSN

Fans of British heavy metal band Judas Priest will be happy to know that the album Screaming for Vengeance will be busting into Harmonix and MTV Games’ Rock Band (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii) as DLC.

Yes, it includes all ten tracks of screaming rock goodness and the said songs will be coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store.

In case you’re a bit rusty on your audiography, here’s the list of songs included in the Screaming for Vengeance (1982) album:

  • “The Hellion”
  • “Electric Eye”
  • “Riding on the Wind”
  • “Bloodstone”
  • “(Take These) Chains”
  • “Pain and Pleasure”
  • “Screaming for Vengeance”
  • “You’ve Got Another Thing CominÂ’”
  • “Fever”
  • “Devil’s Child”

As you may have probably guessed, all the songs will be in all their master recording goodness. On Xbox Live, individual songs will be going for 160 Microsoft Points each, while PSN tags each song at US$ 1.99. The entire album will be going for 1200 Microsoft Points or US$ 14.55.

These Rock Band add-ons will be coming to an online store near you on April 22, so you better mark your calendars.
