Rumor: Free Blu-ray Movies with Select PS3 Games?
Sonic the Hedgehog on a Blu-Ray PS3 disc packaging got us “hitched“. It’s true, some of these rumors were just born from great anticipation over the imminent arrival of the PS3. Recently, we got hold of another industry gossip that “Sony may bundle one or more free Blu-ray movie titles with some of their early PS3 game titles in an effort to introduce the next-gen DVD format to the masses.”
20th Century Fox has already announced that it will be releasing the first ever 50GB, double-layered Blu-Ray films into the market worldwide in November. This release date synchs up with the upcoming November release of the PS3. Walt Disney and other companies have also given it a go. From here, it’s not really difficult to imagine that Blu-ray movies will come bundled along with the PS3.
