RUMOR: from new Xbox 360 models to kissing Core kaput

Not exactly the NeXt-box Peter might have been referring to in EGM, but… If this rumor at Xbox-Archiv.de is true, then Microsoft might be revamping its SKU lineup – maybe the news is Euro-specific, but something like this doesn’t get bottled up in one continent for long. According to Xbox-Archiv’s sources:

• the Core SKU pack will soon be canceled;
• the Premium SKU pack will drop to the Core price of € 299.00 (about US$ 395.00), from its current € 350; and
• there’s a new BlaXbox 360 (with HDMI and 120GB HDD) which will hit Euro stores for around € 400 in May.

In other words,

• Core is kaput,
• Premium is the new Core, and
• BlaXbox 360 will be the new Premium.
