Thanks for this huge news, Naroon! Remember that much-hullabaloo’d issue on the PS3 voice chat? Well, looks like there’s a “development” to this said feature, rumor as it still may be.

A VG247 source claims that he got word from another source whom they “can’t name” on the said cross-title voice chat in PS3 play, and the word is good. As in it’ll-be-here-by-October good. As in it-will-be-added-in-FW-update-3.10 good. Mmm-mmm…

Hold your horses, though! As mentioned above, this is still just a rumor. Don’t expect Sony to buckle down to your badgering about a confirmation on this anytime soon, too. You know how they roll – they get exposed, product is leaked, they “do not comment on rumors”, they eventually deny, and deny, and deny, and then they “announce” the “surprise.”

We’ll get a confirmation on whether this is true or not soon enough, am sure. Just sit back and enjoy your console first as it is in the meantime.
