Looks like Microsoft is preparing a new Xbox 360 SKU for the release of Resident Evil 5, if Ars Technica’s mole is correct. According to the leak, Microsoft will be releasing a red Xbox 360, bundled with a few other things that will hopefully convince you to buy it.

Looks like Microsoft is preparing a new Xbox 360 SKU for the release of Resident Evil 5, if Ars Technica’s mole is correct.

According to the leak, Microsoft will be releasing a red Xbox 360, bundled with a few other things that will hopefully convince you to buy it. Here’s what the bundle will include:

• Red hardware
• Red controller
• A copy of Resident Evil 5
• Exclusive Resident Evil 5 NXE theme
• Download coupon for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD

Seems like a rather weak bundle for such an anticipated game. If the red Xbox 360 will have an RE5 image embossed on the faceplate, then that’d make better sense. Either way though, no doubt it’s going to keep the cash registers ringing.
