According to Japanese underground game zine GameLabo, the Nintendo Wii might just have an additional storage add-on coming to it soon. The story goes that a Nintendo meeting was held just a few days ago, where a consensus was decided on the fate of an external hard drive for the Wii.

Maybe the source overheard it wrong and was actually told something about an external DVD drive? (Oh please let it be a DVD drive…) But you can probably do this anyway, even without an official hard-drive accessory. It would be nice to have something that matches the Wii’s motif, plus have “Nintendo” slobbered all over it.
