Rumor: pictures of Duke Nukem 3D on XBLA

Back in January, we posted a rumor regarding Duke Nukem 3D, noting that the game was supposedly coming out in a few months. That rumor may have come and gone, but a new one takes its place today as pictures of the game on XBLA have surfaced. Learn more after the jump.

Back in January, we posted a rumor regarding Duke Nukem 3D. The rumor mentioned that the game was supposedly coming out in a few months, though there was little to support this rumor. Today, the rumor resurfaces with two pictures of the game supposedly showing up on Xbox Live Arcade.

A tipster who seems to go by the name SV sent Joystiq the two pictures you see above. These pictures show Duke Nukem 3D as an XBLA game. Interestingly enough, the pictures also reveal the possibility of cooperative play in the game.

For now, we’re shelving this under rumors until we get more confirmation. That being said, however, a co-op game of Duke Nukem would actually be a good thing.
