S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl release date confirmed
Time to whip out those cans of radioactive-zombie-B-Gone spray, and get your protective gear from the cleaners as the UK branch of THQ has finally announced the release date for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl.
Slated to start appearing on store shelves by March 23 in Europe, this FPS is set in “The Zone” which is an alternate reality version of the Chernobyl Power Plant explosion that occurred in 1986. The player will then take on the role of a “stalker” who illegally gathers artifacts from the area for profit. It’s no cakewalk though, as foraging in the contaminated area also means running into creatures who have been affected by the radiation.
Developed by the Ukrainian team GSC Game World, we’ll soon be able to finally try out this title which promises to be yet another memorable post-apocalyptic adventure.
