Safe! Six new MLB Power Pros screenshots

Super-deformed baseball insanity in this screenshot update of 2K Sports‘ MLB Power Pros (Power Pro Baseball in Japan), and things are definitely looking sweet in this side of the digital diamond. We get you a sneak peek at the baseball game for the Nintendo Wii that takes advantage of the Wii’s motion-sensing capabilities.

In these screenshots, we see more of the cel-shaded graphics of the game, and while it’s far from being photo-realistic, it gives the game a crisp, consistent look with its cartoony visual style. The backgrounds are bright, the HUDs are large and easily decipherable in helping players to figure out the necessary actions to perform with the Wiimote in order to swing and throw.

There’s also the bonus of having your own Miis as players – and player customization is definitely a plus in any game. MLB Power Pros is certainly shaping up to be a classic act for the Nintendo Wii. Updates as we get them, so enjoy the screenshots!
