Sandisk RapidGX Pro Duos for PSP

SanDisk has recently announced a new, high-performance Memory Stick PRO Duo called the RapidGX. This 1GB card will be sold for a suggested retail price of $84.99, and there will also be components to go along with it. Includes in this package is the MicroMate reader and PSP file conversion software. The MicroMate reader allows for read/write speeds up to 15 megabytes per second, which is about twice of what the PSP can normally achieve via USB. The PSP software will allow you to convert a variety of multimedia files into the proper PSP format as well through a drag-and-drop interface, making it the perfect utility for people who use their PSP outside of gaming. The software will be able to convert video files into the MP4 PSP format, and it will even include various space saving options so you can get the most out of your memory stick. Although this might be a little pricey considering 2GB sticks are fairly cheap and a new 4GB model is on the way, the faster transfer times and software might make it worth a purchase upon its release in summer.
