Scan reveals SoulCalibur 4’s real install size

Rumors of Namco Bandai‘s SoulCalibur IV having a gargantuan install size on the PlayStation 3 hard disk have been shot down by the developers themselves recently. More proof is now coming in to support that statement as a scan reveals the game’s real size on disk. See the scan after the jump!

 

A lot of us thought that there was something ridiculous about the rumored install size of Namco Bandai‘s Calibur IV on the PlayStation 3 hard drive. The word used to be that roughly 6.7GB would be taken up by the game along with 2GB game saves. Now we all know that all of this is false thanks to a new scan that surfaced on the GameTrailers Forums.

The magazine scan above which can be viewed in full when clicked shows that the actual install size will be 2.85GB which isn’t bad at all. Game saves will be taking up a miniscule 2MB so you don’t have to worry about that, either.

Now that the rumor is out of the way and we know what the real install size is, we can go back to anticipating what looks like one of the best games that will come out this year. Bring on the characters old and new and let’s get ready to rumble!
