SCEE aware of bad EU PSN offerings, working on solution
European PlayStation 3 owners have by and large expressed dissatisfaction with the EU PSN’s lackluster offerings. At a recent Warhawk tournament organized by Three Speech, a member of the Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) PR team said that SCEE is aware of the problem and is working on a solution.
According to the PR team member, it all boils down to localization problems. Japan and the U.S. apparently keep getting good PSN content since each country only has a single language. PSN releases for Europe, on the other hand, have to be localized for each of the territory’s 21 languages.
European gamers probably won’t see improvements in the next couple of days, but the PR team member emphasized that gamers should “expect to see things get better in the near future”. Here’s hoping that SCEE manages to come up with a solution soon.
