Ever since the new Playstation Store was introduced in Europe, quite a number of gamers have been complaining about the slow loading time for the icons. A representative from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has released a statement regarding this.
According to Lestrade, a community team leader on the Europe PlayStation forums, Sony is already aware of the problem and that it is a temporary consequence of the new system implementation and high global traffic levels.
If the statement proves to be true, then we can probably expect the PlayStation Store to load much faster as time goes on.
