Screens of EA Replay’s Budokan

EA Replay

We have here some screens of the upcoming retro-themed compilation from EA, EA Replay. After giving you those Road Rash trailers and B.O.B screens, we now have here in our midst some Budokan screens. Not familiar with it? Shame on you! Nah, we’re just messing with you.

A quick walk down memory lane for the uninitiated reader, the game was released in 1990 and it is a versus fighting game wherein the player could use Karate, Bo, Nunchaku, and Kendo. Some trivia of sorts for you: most of your opponents are male, with the exception of that girl with the Naginata, although there were speculations that a Ninjutsu fighter with a masked face might be female as well.

Ok, so you may be asking why in the world are you going to be interested in buying a game that you can play for free with homebrew emulators. To answer that, lemme quote what my co-blogger, Gino D. said- “we should give everyone – commercial developer or homebrewer – a round of applause for keeping our childhood alive.” Although not every kid had a happy childhood, most of us here agree with what he said. So with that, here are the screens.
