Second Life suffering from login failures

Second Life - Image 1The Second Life Insider reports that players are currently experiencing login failures. According to the Second Life Insider, a number of regions apparently malfunctioned and login services for Second Life began to fail for an unknown number of residents at around 4:30 A.M. SLT.

Purportedly, these symptoms are consistent with “a routing failure between the Texas and California server facilities that serve the Second Life grid.”

Mick Linden of Linden Lab has already acknowledged the problem and said that technicians are currently working on a solution. As of right now, though, there has yet to be an eta on when the issues will be fixed.
