September 14th Bigger than E3 for Wii?

Matt

Matt Casamassina of IGN is hyping up Nintendo’s September 14th event as the big one. He says that it may be even bigger than E3 itself for us Nintendo fans!

GC 2006 wasn’t exactly the huge Wii show that some had expected, but it did have some cool game announcements. That said, we’re just getting started. Wii fans, this is going to be a huge month for you. I think the September 14 event — now just two weeks away — will be bigger than E3 for Wii lovers, and the coverage/news isn’t likely to stop flowing after that. If we’ve been in something of a drought, rest assured that the storm is coming.

It should be very exciting indeed. I can’t help but be a bit scared about it though. After E3, I was completely burnt out! Hopefully the news stream is manageable this time. Launch details, including price and date, are expected at this event. After that, most stores should hopefully start their pre-orders. I’ve been asking my EB about pre-orders since May…
