Electronic Arts has just announced the Europe demo and the release dates of its upcoming video game, Skate (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3).

North America will be getting the sports title earlier, September 11, while Europe will be able to get their hands on the Xbox 360 version on September 21 and the PlayStation 3 version on October 12. The Skate demo, on the other hand, will go live in Europe’s Xbox Live Marketplace on August 15. Whew. You know what that means right? You’ll be able to check out the game’s Flickit controls and the innovative gameplay style.

According to the release, the Skate demo will include a tutorial mode plus gameplay challenges set in San Vanelona’s community center skatepark. Also, the demo sports the “skate.reel” feature where players can immortalize their skating glory and share it with friends.

If you aren’t familiar with the video game from Electronic Arts, the main goal in Skate is to be noticed by two of the premiere skateboarding mags: Thrasher and The Skateboard Mag. Of course, once you get fame, the rest will follow in the form of sponsorships, product endorsements, and money. Also, you’ll get invited to the X Games and you’ll get a chance to show off your skating prowess to the world. You might even want to challenge Danny Way in the Skateboard Big Air event.

Anyway, it’s still going to be a while before we see the demo and the full version of Skate. In the meantime, check out these screenshots and videos we have lined up. Enjoy!
