Smoove v0.92Smoove v0.92

Martin Wisniowski has just informed us that a new version of his pixel, tile, and sprite-editor for the PSP is now out and available for download. For those who haven’t heard about it yet, the application is called Smoove and, like we mentioned earlier, allows PSP owners to read, write, and edit .PNG files on their Sony handhelds. Using Smoove, you can create classic-looking 2D graphic files – perfect for use as sprites or tile maps in any game project.

Here’s a list of features and changes added to this version:

Features

  • Pixeleditor
  • Zoomedit
  • Animation-Editor
  • Copy buffer
  • Open Files (.PNG)
  • Save Files (.PNG)
  • Create tiles, sprites and pixelartworks
  • Creates grafic files compatible to classic 2d games. Instantly ready to use as sprite and tile maps in any gameproject.

Changelog for v0.92

  • usb connect
  • changes at settiles
  • added info urls

You’ll need LuaPlayer for Smoove to work. Compatibility with LuaPlayer v0.16 has been fully tested, so that version is recommended. For a more in-depth set of instructions on how to install and use Smoove, refer to the readme file included in the download.
