Snake RLY? Survey shows interest on MGS4 for 360

 

Let sleeping dogs lie, or so some say. But when you’re talking about a certain Snake, that’s one definite rumor you’d want to wake up no matter how many times it’s already been talked about. Especially if the rumor concerns a supposed-exclusive title heading to another platform.

Over at the Evil Avatar forums, fitbabits has reported that his wife just answered a survey. He didn’t mention what the survey was generally about (or if it mentioned other game titles or developers), but he did reveal three interesting questions included in it:

“Would you like to see Metal Gear Solid 4 on Xbox 360?”

“Would you buy an Xbox 360 just to play Metal Gear Solid 4?”

“On a scale of 0-100, with zero being not at all satisfied and 100 being very satisfied, how would you rate Konami‘s output on Xbox 360 to date?”

Of course, these are questions on a survey. A poll. It neither confirms nor denies anything that MGS4 will come out for the 360. All fitbabits said was that the survey (via e-mail) came from “a fairly popular marketing and research firm.” See? It doesn’t even seem to be coming from Konami themselves. Much less Microsoft.

The only thing we can extract from this is that this marketing firm is showing signs of interest on an MGS4 title on the 360. So… before we rouse this sleeping dog/snake of a rumor into another barrage of speculations, please think about it first before you comment. What we would like to do now though is ask: what would you answer given these questions?
