So shiny and new: official U.S. PlayStation site updated

Some of you who are quick on the clicking have most likely already seen it, considering how a lot of you guys are Sony fanboys and fangirls. But for the sake of those who’re still in the dark, the official PlayStation website has just been overhauled and updated. Currently, it’s sporting a new look and a fresh design.

The site map is still pretty much as expected. You’ve got the PS3, PSP, and PS2 tabs neatly placed for easy navigation. You’re still able to surf easily for content directly from Sony: stuff like downloads for your PSP, upcoming games for the PS2, and some trailers to introduce you to their youngest brother, the PS3.

Recognize any of those games on the banner? Yeah, we thought so. Among others, some of the more easily recognizable elements come from Genji: Days of the Blade and Resistance: Fall of Man. Seems like the PS3 is taking the brunt of the exposure. Naturally, they’ve got to promote their latest system, duh. But don’t worry, the PSP and PS2 are still well represented.
