Sony: 2009 has a great line-up for PS3, more coming
Heavy Rain, God of War III, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Just three of the games Sony has lined up for the PlayStation 3 this year. And they’re not through yet of course. According to Sony, they have several more titles they haven’t announced yet.

Heavy Rain, God of War III, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Just to name a few of the heavyweight titles Sony has lined up for the PlayStation 3 this year. Perhaps this time they can actually live up to the “Year of the PlayStation 3” tag line that was delayed from last year. SCEA‘s VP of product development Scott Rohde comments:
I think we had a very good lineup in 2008, especially for the holidays, but in 2009, itÂ’s an absolutely amazing lineup. ItÂ’s one of the best lineups that weÂ’ve ever put out in a single calendar year, so itÂ’s very, very exciting.
[…] WeÂ’re just now starting to see the fruits of that labor, whereas maybe last year and the year before we were just scratching the surface of what the machine could do. Now developers are seasoned; they understand how to develop on the PS3.
And according to Rohde, they have “several titles that are in the works” that they have yet to announce. You can bet we’ll hear more about that during GDC this week.
