Sony and Bizarre Creations Bagged Awards

Develop AwardAs a testament that they aren’t losing their winning touch, Sony just picked up three nods at the recently concluded Develop Industry Excellence Awards with PGR3 developer Bizarre Creations taking the Grand Prix. The Develop Industry Excellence Awards Night, held at Hilton Metropole in Brighton, England, was attended by over 400 European game industry luminaries.

Sony bagged awards in three categories, meanwhile Burnout Developer Criterion received the In-house Development Team award. Bizaare Creations also emerged as a big winner because the developer of the Project Gotham Racing series, received two awards including the Grand Prix. Other notable winners included Broken Sword creator Charles Cecil in the Industry Legend category and Traveller’s Tales, honored as the best independent Developer. Winners were judged in secret by a panel of 50 independent industry experts. Here are the list of winners:
