Sony’s still putting a lot of effort into selling more PSP Go units. We’ve seen a couple of free game promotions for the handheld before, and next month Sony will be kicking off another one.
“Next month we’re launching a free ten game offer,” said SCE UK sales director Mark Howsen. “And this isn’t just older titles – we’ve worked with third parties and there’s some really good core products. We’re using it as a method to drive the hardware as well by making the whole proposition much more appealing.
The promo will entitle anyone who registers their PSP Go after April 1 2010 to ten full downloadable games. Below is a full list (allegedly) of the games to be given away:
- LittleBigPlanet
- Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
- Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines
- FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
- Motorstorm: Arctic Edge
- Wipeout Pure
- Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
- Gran Turismo
- Need for Speed: Shift
