Sony locks the door on Room

When Sony introduced the PSPgo in Japan, they also unveiled Room, a social networking space much like PlayStation Home for the PSP. It has been a year since the closed beta went live, but now, SCEJ has announced that development for Room has been halted.

 

 

 

When Sony introduced the PSPgo in Japan, they also unveiled Room, a social networking space much like PlayStation Home for the PSP. It has been a year since the closed beta went live, but now, SCEJ has announced that development for Room has been halted.

 

 

Room was a community-based platform where you get to customize 3D avatars and interact with other users. SCEJ also thanked the participants of the closed beta, but now, we won’t be seeing Room go toe-to-toe with Apple’s Game Center.
