Remember the white PlayStation 3 Sony released a couple of months ago to the territories of Japan? If the recent info we picked is accurate, then we just might be seeing this cream-colored machine arriving in North America as well.

The info snippet we’re talking about are a couple of updated documents Sony had recently submitted to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. Aside from some letters and tech reports, perhaps most telling were several picture taken of the said 40GB PS3 unit, and a copy of the FCC certification stamp that it would carry.

While this is very strong evidence that Sony just might be releasing this new unit into American soil, it may be best to wait for official word from them. We’ve provided for screenshots of the white PS3 here.
