Special Lord of the Rings Online titles available at Connect 2008

We’ve got some big news for those folks who’ve got tickets to Codemasters Online’s Connect 2008. According to this announcement over on the Connect08 website, Lord of the Rings Online players can pick up some special titles for their characters if they attend the event.

Codemasters Online has announced something very special for all those Lord of the Rings Online players who’ve decided to go to Connect 2008. According to a new post over on the Connect08 website, LOTRO players who go to the event will get special titles for their characters.

Here’s the announcement from the website:

Anyone who attends Codemasters Online’s premier gaming event, Connect 2008 will be given the opportunity to select one of three exclusive and unique titles to use on their player characters. The choices of titles are:

• Pillar of the Community
• Greeter of Kin
• Worldly Traveler

No word’s been given on whether or not these titles will confer any bonuses to your characters, but they should be of interest to those folks who love the added coolness factor a new title brings to their characters. It’s certainly an extra reason to make your way to Connect 2008 at least.
