On the good news bit first. Sam Fisher’s performance was apparently found enjoyable by more than just a few people as it reportedly sold some 1.9 million units of Splinter Cell: Conviction. Way to go, Sam! This was according to Ubisoft’s first quarter sales.
Now as for that bad news, Driver: San Francisco will have to wait till it can get on first gear cosUbisoft has tied it down for a 2011 release. Supposedly, Driver was getting launched in November, but because of “the competitive market at Christmas”, they’re gonna do away with that sched and opt for something a bit more safer next year.
