Sprocket marking menu interface for WoW
Y’know, it’s like a mod festival here today. Lots and lots of mods. Mods galore. Insert something cutesy about large number of mod-related posts here. Well, we’re not done yet. This time we present Sprocket, a marking menu interface for World of Warcraft.
Now, before we go any further, just what is a marking menu? Here’s Sprocket author dreyruugr with an explanation:
“A marking menu, or ‘pie menu’, is a radial menu designed for speed and efficiency. The menu is always displayed around the current cursor position, meaning minimal movement is required to access it. Think of the menu as a pie, and each item on the menu as a slice of that pie. You simply move your cursor in the direction of piece you want and it becomes selected.“
Got that? Good. Sprocket is quite the flexible interface. Almost anything can be assigned to its menu items. The menu items (you get a max of 8 menu items) can do nearly any action, including cast a spell, use an item in your bag or inventory, execute a macro, target a unit, open a sub menu, and execute slash or script commands.
Sound good? It definitely does to us. It sure beats having to spend a lot of time going through multiple keypresses and mouse clicks to get something done. Just click on the download link below to grab it.
