It’s finally been confirmed. Square Enix indeed will be releasing a new Final Fantasy game for Sony‘s PlayStation Portable, and as we reported earlier as a rumor, the title is in fact Final Fantasy Dissidia.

Squeenix has already opened up the official website for the game, but currently, it only houses the game’s logo and the tag message: “Fantasy is endless. Fantasy has no limited form.” Apart from this, it is also revealed by the site that Tetsuya Nomura, resident Final Fantasy character designer, will be back to provide his services once again for the popular franchise.

As it stands, that’s all the update we have for you right now. But not to worry, we’ll be sure to keep you posted on more as they come. It might also do you good to get to the Square Enix Party 2007, as they promise to reveal more details about Final Fantasy Dissidia in that event. In the meantime, why don’t you check out the (sparse as of yet) website for Final Fantasy Dissidia? Just click on the Read link below, and you’re good to go.
