Square Enix: Final Fantasy IX digital re-release is complete

It’s been a month since we got word on the Final Fantasy IX PSN re-release, but thanks to Twitter, Square Enix gave us all an update on how that’s coming along. According to Squeenix Twitterman Shinji Hashimoto, the digital re-release has been completed.

The information so far only points to a release for the Japanese PSN, and there’s still no word about Europe or North America. As it is, it might not be too long before Final Fantasy IX joins Japan’s PSOne archive.

 

Hashimoto also said we should expect more Final Fantasy IX info within the week, which I really hope to be the Western release announcement.
