Thanks in part to the triumvirate consisting of the Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts franchises, Square Enix raked in sales totaling JP¥ 109,949 million — roughly US$ 1.18 billion — in the fiscal period ending March 2010, and that’s for the games division alone.
Most of the company’s earnings came from Japan, with North America in second place. Europe, in third, was the only division to post operating losses.
