One good thing about Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron is that the developers from Rebellion Developments and LucasArts update the game’s official blog every now and then and provide answers to the inquiries posted by the fans themselves. For this week, we get to learn some tricks from lead tester Ryan Adza.

According to Adza, fans have been asking how they can acquire advanced fighters like B-Wing and TIE Defender since these ships are nowhere to be found in space. Adza shared that accessing Han Solo’s Renegade Squadron in the story mode will readily provide players B-wings in the hangars.

If you want to make things more exciting though, Ryan Adza suggested to go to either the Instant Action and Galactic Conquest modes. He elaborated:

You get access to the B-wing and TIE Defender by capturing the asteroid bases like you would a command post on the ground. Simply land another starship in the asteroid base, exit, then capture the command post, and you have the B-wing or TIE Defender at your disposal until your side loses the base.

That should do it for today and be sure to check back here at QJ.NET to get the latest updates on this and other titles. Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will be released on October 12.
