LucasArts has released more details for the upcoming Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes game which is currently being developed by Krome Studios for PC, PS3, PSP, Wii, and Xbox 360. LucasArts Singapore is taking care of the DS version.

As stated before in an earlier article, the game bridges the gap between seasons one and two of the Clone Wars animated series. It will focus on the bounty hunter Cad Bane and a new Skakoan supervillain named Kul Teska.

Anakin’s Padawan Ahsoka Tano has been confirmed as a playable character along with Commander Cody and Captain Rex. The Jedi can commandeer droids and use their handy dandy Force powers to solve puzzles, while the baddies will make do with a lot of firepower.

There are more than 30 missions in all, and the two-player co-op mode will also let players compete against each other in a series of challenges available mid-level.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes is currently slated for a September 15 release.
