Sounds like something exciting is brewing quietly over at BioWare’s Star Wars: The Old Republic backyard. Their forum, specifically, is teeming over with ecstatic chats about folks receiving closed Beta invites — for this weekend only.

 

The June 25-27 beta, so said the forum members, would include only some 100-200 players, all of which, expectedly, are to be tied to a strict NDA. The whole secrecy bit and the continuing silence from BioWare are only adding premium to the hype of course. Nonetheless, with the amount of people claiming that they did receive invites, we’re inclined to believe that this Closed Beta for SWTOR will truly be happening this weekend.
