Steam client update addresses Portal: First Slice launch problems

Here’s a quick heads-up for the subscribers of Valve Corporation‘s Steam service. We’re letting you guys know that this content delivery system has received a new update that’s now available for download.

Among other things, this update will be addressing a reported problem with the Portal: First Slice demo. As for the rest of its changes:

• Fixed Portal: First Slice being unable to launch for some users
• Fixed GoldSrc MODs being unable to launch from the Steam serverbrowser
• Fixed network issue on startup
