Street Fighter the Movie: Extreme Edition on Blu Ray
Street Fighter: Extreme Edition will be coming soon to the Blu-ray format. This is a re-release of the 1994 Street Fighter movie starring Van Damme. While there’s not a lot I can say about the movie itself, there are a ton of lovely extras in this new “Extreme Edition” that just might make it worth our while.
Remember that live-action movie adaptation of Street Fighter? The one starring Jean-Claude Van Damme? Well, anyway, it will be coming soon to the Blu-ray format under the title, “Street Fighter: Extreme Edition.”
While there’s not a lot I can say about the movie itself, there are a ton of lovely extras for the hardcore SF fan (hence the “Extreme” in the title). Here’s the list:
- Street Fighter IV Game Trailer
- Street Fighter IV Game Teaser Trailer
- Street Fighter IV Anime Trailer
- The Making of Street Fighter
- Outtakes
- Deleted Scenes
- Storybord Sequences
- Video Game Sequences
- Cyberwalk
- Archives
- Feature Commentary with Director Steven de Souza (I’d love to hear him explain himself…)
- My Scenes
- BD Live
It’ll be in widescreen 1080p with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and will be available on February 10th, around the same time as the Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3, Xbox 360) release.
Although I am sure many are understandably reluctant to get a copy for themselves, I can honestly say a movie like this comes once in a lifetime. At the very least you’ll get a few laughs.
