Super Monkey Ball Adventure European Boxart
Europe U.S.
Last month we revealed the boxart for the US version, and today we can bring you the boxart for the European versions. Unusually, there is quite a lot of difference between the 2. In my opinion, the US version looks a lot more appealing to the gaming eye, showing the chaos of the Super Monkey Ball world in the background. The European versions is a bit more subtle, featuring just the Monkey on its own.
Why do they need different boxart for different regions? Sure, there are differences in the rating system, PEGI for Europe and ERSB for the US; but surely there’s no need to make the boxart different. It may be that Sega think the European audience would prefer the one on the left, but I’m from the UK (Which the geographers amongst you will know is in Europe), and I prefer the US version because It stands out a lot more. If I was walking into an electronics store, and saw the European version I wouldn’t give it a second glance.
