Super Robot Taisen W blasting to the DS
The Japanese are famous for things like sushi, sumo wrestling, and giant mutated lizards, among other things. But they’ve got one specialty we all grew up with. Giant robots.
Yup, they’ve got hordes of Gundam, Nadesico, Mazinger Z, and Majinkaizer. And they are all coming to the DS. Super Robot Taisen W by Banpresto is literally a battle of giants as the robot characters slug it out in a strategy game. There will be characters from the different series joining the fray.
Voltron, Yuusha Ou GaoGaiGar, Gundam Seed Astray, and Detonator Orgun will make their respective debuts in this installment of the series.
Super Robot Taisen W will be out in Japanese stores on March 1. (Collective groan) We’ll just have to wait and see if this will make it stateside. For the meantime, be happy with the knowledge that DS is region free.
