SWG to have reduced technical support this holiday
Sony Online Entertainment recently announced they will be dishing out freebies for avid fans of their MMO Star Wars Galaxies. Despite that, don’t get the impression that your favorite title from a galaxy far, far, away will be available 24/7 during the holiday season. It won’t, or at least the account and technical support for it won’t.
According to the announcement SOE releases today, both departments will have reduced hours during the holiday season. Please take note that phone support will not be offered on December 25-26 and January 1. On the other hand, the technical and account phone support will be available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on dates December 27 to December 29. The other schedule are as follows:
- Technical and Account Chat support will remain available during its normal hours of operation, Monday through Friday 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. PST.
- Technical and Account Email support is available any time.
- The technical and account support knowledge base is also available any time.
- Technical and Account Phone Support will return to its normal hours of operation on Tuesday January 2nd.
- Normal Technical and Account phone support is Monday through Friday 10 a.m. through 7 p.m. PST.
