TabletKiosk Announces New UMPCs
Just when you thought that TabletKiosk has bowed its head and given up after that battery mishap with the eo v7110, they make a comeback with not just one but two new UMPCs. And if the first TabletKiosk creation is a steal (it only costs 900 bucks), the two upcoming TabletKiosk babies may cause a bigger dent in your pockets.
The new UMPCs are tagged as the eo i7210 and the eo i7209. The higher end eo i7210 has the following basic specs- Intel Pentium M 1.0 GHz ULV / 1 GB DDR2 RAM / 60 GB HDD, whereas the eo i7209 will be blessed with Intel Celeron M 900 MHz ULV / 512 MB DDR2 RAM / 30 GB HDD.
So, just how bad would the financial damage be? Well, that’s for you to judge but the eo i7210 will cost you roughly $1,400 while the eo i7209 has an almost $1,100 price tag. Plus, there is an array of accessories to choose from to amp your baby. TabletKiosk will begin shipping by the end of August 2006. Let’s just hope that they have eliminated the battery problems and they score a hit with these two.
