Tabula Rasa Screenshot of the Week: Infiltration

Tabula Rasa's Screenshot of the Week - Image 1

This week’s dose of Tabula Rasa eye-candy is looking particularly juicy. Not only does it show off the game’s group dynamics, it also lets the viewer get a sneak peek at the interiors of an enemy base, as well as catch a close-up glimpse of one of the game’s many awesome-looking weapons. On to the image dissection to see what sort of goodies await us come Tabula Rasa‘s October release date!

So, what’s going on in this screenshot? Well, it appears to be a group of hardware-sporting AFS soldiers regrouping after successfully infiltrating an enemy base. The environment looks suitably creepy, and the green, alien-like glow from above lights everything spectacularly. Also, the massive draw distance in this game should also be considered, as we can just see into the corridor ahead of the group.

One thing that should be taken note of as well is the soldier standing in the foreground, with his back to the viewer. While we can’t help but gloss over how awesome his gear looks, it’s his sword that’s caught our attention – handy-looking beam saber, that. A bit unconventional in design, but definitely cool-looking in terms of handling a cliche RPG weapon nicely.

Tabula Rasa‘s certainly coming along well, and we can’t wait to see just what else this new universe from NCsoft will offer. Keep it locked right here for further updates about Tabula Rasa!
