Tabula Rasa Screenshot of the Week: Why We Fight

Richard Garriott already explained why the development for MMO video game Tabula Rasa is taking too long,  so don’t be upset if NCSoft is just releasing one screenshot of the game per week. An update is an update and true blue fans should be happy just seeing their game progress.

Anyway, the featured screenshot this time is about an AFS soldier standing over his fallen comrade. The dead soldier, needless to say, was butchered by the merciless Bane. It’s only natural for the other AFS soldier to seek revenge and stop the Bane from killing more people. And this is the very reason why we fight.

Being sci-fi themed, many are looking at Tabula Rasa as a breath of fresh air to the Orcs-and-Elves-saturated MMORPG genre. Aside from fine tuning gameplay and other features, NCSoft made sure that TR will have a strong background story to make it more compelling to fans. As you know, a whole new language was even created just for this game.

In terms of development, Tabula Rasa is currently in closed beta testing and with focus on new maps and missions, Tier 4 abilities and weapons, crafting, and clan versus clan warfare.
