With all the big news coming out of TGS, it’s easy to lose track of announcements for the more niche titles. I don’t want that to happen, so here’s an update on what Nippon Ichi Software has in store for PSP and PS3 gamers in the US.

Let’s start off with the PSP. Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or2 has been confirmed for a US release. In case the Japanese name threw you off, this is the sequel to the dungeon management game released as Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! a few months back.Badman 2 is slated for a February 10 release.

It also seems that the third game in the Namaikida series, Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida: 3D, which was announced recently for Japan, is on track for an eventual US and Euro release along with the newly-revealed Disgaea Infinite, a PSN game featuring — what else? — characters from the Disgaea universe.

NIS President Souhei Niikawa described Disgaea Infinite as “an adventure game, which means cut scenes, entertaining dialogue and a very story-driven experience featuring popular Disgaea characters.”

Both titles are supposed to get US and European release announcements sometime next year.

PS3 owners, meanwhile, will get to play Atelier Rorona come Summer 2010. This is the first Atelier game to be made specifically for the PS3, so sprites are out and 3D graphics are in. Atelier fans can still expect turn-based battles and a focus on item synthesis, though.
